Welcome to the Sisterhood of the 13 Moons...
...we’ve been waiting for you to take your place in the Circle; a place only you can fill.
This is a time of Great Transformation upon our beloved Mother Earth. We are here to dismantle old paradigms of hierarchy, power and control... and return once again to the Circle of Life, wherein all beings are honored, and our interdependent relationships are restored.
It is the time when the Divine Feminine rises to reclaim Her place, in balance and harmony with the Masculine. This sacred duality is the energetic blueprint for all of Creation, but has been out of alignment for thousands of years.
As more and more women awaken to remember and reclaim our ancient mysteries and wisdoms, we serve as living embodiments of the Divine Feminine. We are the many faces of the Goddess incarnate… and together, we are collectively birthing a New Humanity upon this Earth.
In the Circle, we all have an equal place and an equal voice, though we are not all exactly equal… for each of us comes bearing unique gifts, just as each comes to learn their own distinct lessons meant for their highest spiritual evolution and growth.
In the 13 Moons Sisterhood, we are laying the foundation for a new model of shared and collective leadership, where every woman is honored and celebrated for the medicine she carries, the wisdom she has to offer, and the purposes she came to fulfill.
For as many beings as there are in existence, there are as many ways of knowing. There is not one path for us all to follow, rather, there are infinite paths with infinite connections, and infinite space to contain it all. Our job is to find the path that is ours, and to learn to walk it with grace, integrity and love.
The important mission we have as women alive on the planet today is:
- To learn to access our deepest internal knowing, to remember and reclaim women’s mysteries and wisdoms
- To discover our own unique connection to the Divine, and to discover the Divine within ourselves and one another
- To restore our relationships with the natural world, living in harmony and balance with all our relatives (plant, animal, mineral, human, cosmic, and elemental)
- To be disciplined and devoted to our purpose and to our work, leading by example with integrity, compassion and love
This is the work we are doing together in 13 Moons: remembering; reclaiming; restoring; rebirthing; rebuilding. Though our focus is on our own paths, we are supported by the collective in this container of safety and love.
Whether you have been doing this work for a long time, or are only awakening to it now, you are perfect as you are, arriving in divine time.

Co-creating a Vision
for the Future
Maybe in a feminist future filled with acceptance of ourselves, authentic love for each other, and respect for Mother Earth’s and the Universe’s abundance, we wouldn’t need Emily Colay’s 13 Moons Circles. In this moment, though, we so desperately do. Amidst challenging times, Emily saw the need to create a community of women to foster healing, growth and empowerment. Those of us who wonder if a love-filled feminist future is possible, who yearn for it, who are actively striving for it and are embattled as a result, 13 Moons is your community.
For me, 13 Moons has been a saving grace in these tumultuous times. It has guided me back to wisdom that was long buried. Through 13 Moons’ monthly sessions of shared learning and shared stories centered around the feminine power within, I am reminded that a world guided by love and authenticity is much closer than I thought it was.

Sharing Our Medicine
For so long, I have been thirsty for the true support and friendship of other women, and while I made some of those friendships in college, I have found it incredibly challenging as an adult to make those real, honest connections. In 13 Moons, not only have I connected with a diverse circle of powerful, funny, truth-telling, supportive women, but I have also started the process of shifting my own love and 'friendship' with myself; we are learning together how to see and reclaim our own divine, feminine power within ourselves and within each other. I feel an optimism about life and energy in my work that I have not felt since I was a teen, and I know it is directly related to the rituals and medicines we are building together in our group.
Meeting with my moon sisters is often the highlight of my week - whether in person or through a Zoom meeting, I feel so close and connected to them. I hope every woman has the opportunity to be part of this program and walk in the path of the Moon.

Hi, I’m Emily Colay -
Creatrix of 13 Moons
13 Moons was originally born from a vision I received in my first year as a Moondancer in 2012. At the time, it was mainly created for girls, as a coming-of-age program to honor the sacred phase of life when their wombs swell with their first moonblood.
The mission of 13 Moons for Girls was to help young women see themselves as sacred beings... as true living embodiments of the Divine. As I birthed the girls' program into the world, there were many women in my life asking if I would create a program for them as well. Thus in 2018, I offered my first 13 Moons Circle for women.
As a trained Priestess, a Moondancer, a Sacred Song Carrier, a Teacher and a Mother, I understand that this work is part of my divine purpose, and is why I am here: to embody and activate the Divine Feminine; to be disciplined in my sacred work; to model these ways to others; and to help them discover it for themselves.
It is important to recognize the great privilege to be women alive on the planet at this time, and in this place… for billions of women around the world - throughout history and still today - have suffered the unimaginable... simply for being born female.
We do this work for our lives, and for their lives... in honor of those who came before us, and with love for those who will one day walk in our footsteps.
Our Mission Statement
13 Moons is a safe spiritual container for people of all races and nations who share an expanding consciousness which honors our innate and integral connection to the Earth, Cosmos and all of Creation. Our offerings aid each person in unearthing their own inner knowing and divine purpose.
We are a collective and function as a Circle, wherein each member has their place of equal value and worth, each bearing their own unique gifts, experiences, talents, medicines, ancestors, and resources. In 13 Moons, we show up authentically and vulnerably with integrity, love, and respect for our community, for our guides, for our teachings, and for our planet.
